Food is a difficult subject to film. Our current project revolves around hot pot—a traditional Chinese dish where many people usually gather around the table to cook ingredients in a pot. Hot pot is typically spicy. To showcase the strong Chinese culture behind this dish, we filmed at the restaurant's busiest time, combining the lively sounds of the restaurant, the exquisite preparation of the hot pot, and the actors' bon appetit performances to create such a lively promotional video.
