In this project, we faced a new challenge: for the same advertisement and scene, the client requested three different aspect ratios—horizontal, vertical, and square—to serve different advertising platforms. Our final shooting solution was to cut the square format from the horizontal format, while shooting the vertical format separately. This required us to leave enough space for the square format when shooting horizontally and to place the main subject in the center of the frame to facilitate the editing process. When shooting vertically, we also had to consider the possibility of information being cut off at the top or bottom and try to make the image richer.
